In one of the closest seasons since the inception of the Barclays Premier League, it all came down to the final weekend: United at Wigan, Chelsea at home to Bolton. After falling behind, the Reds drew level through Cristiano Ronaldo and then, fittingly, Ryan Giggs sealed the points and the title with a cool finish in front of the travelling United fans. That capped a thrilling season in which Sir Alex's men reaped the rewards for adopting a brand of stylish, attacking football, spearheaded by superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.
